Hi,
I thought on Camwhores, sharing videos was free. Apparently, some people take advantage of the site to make money, by charging for friend requests.
As it says in the site description "The site is totally free to use so there is no paid plan currently"
I am attaching a screenshot of one of these people.
Hello,
As we mentioned already, the site is totally free to use and will remain free.
Do you see any option on the site that lets you pay and upgrade your membership? The answer is No.
There are millions of content freely accessible, and many users are ready to add you to their friend list if you have videos uploaded and if they're interested in your videos.
We strongly recommend you do not pay and ignore such users. We're not responsible for their action.
Thank you.
My message was only intended to warn the members of this forum. There are thousands of free uploaded videos on this site, without the need to pay anything. I never paid and I never will
I totally agree with you A262 and brbicecreamtruck
A bit of "philosophical thinking" now on this forum lol.
What happens to you when someone declines your friend request? For my part, I am always very disappointed.
I usually accept all friend requests, telling myself that sooner or later this person will have a video that will interest me, and that being on a sharing site, that's the reason to exist of this kind of site.
All the videos that I put online, I paid for them all during private and it therefore cost me money.
Why do some people turn down friend requests ? do they think they are superior to others or better ? Do these people think their videos are much better than mine and mine are worthless ?
Some members even charge for their "friendships" or videos.
This is the questions that I have been asking for a long time.
What do you think of that ?
Cheers!!!
It is probably like anything else in life. Sometimes people want to feel powerful, or maybe they had a bad day. Maybe they think they are a connoisseur of cam whores. It could be anything and it is probably different for each person.
It is a let-down when it happens, but if you have some videos then most people will accept you. It is best to try not to think about it too much. Besides, there is so much content now. In most cases it is no big deal if you can't see someone's uploads, you'll find a lot more that you like soon enough.
But when you want to see a video with a specific model that you have been looking for for a long time, and that this person is the only one to have this video, it's annoying.
But sure, there is much more serious in life lol. It was my moment of existentialist crisis hahaha !!!. There are so many beautiful videos and beautiful models on Camwhores.
Exactly. There's a wise dating proverb, "there's many fish in the sea". It is a good mentality to have with cam whores also. Especially now in the last few years due to lockdowns. It is wild how many new girls there are.
By the way, we all go through this - we all have some favourite girls whose content is locked somewhere. It will leak eventually. If not, consider this! If you are patient, at least you aren't putting yourself in a position to be exploited, by having tunnel vision for something.
I used to make all my videos "Private" with the rationale that it takes considerable effort to record, edit and upload videos so I didn't see why freeloaders should benefit from my work.
After a two year break I have changed my policy to allow most people with a reasonable number of videos to friend me. This with "nothing" get denied and ignored.
I will still make videos that I paid for "Private" but those recorded from public shows I will leave free. If all your videos are free what's the incentive for others to friend you?
It's weird, I have successfully uploaded just one video (others are still pending) and I am getting a ton of add requests, most of which I accept.
You're right. I paid for all the private videos I uploaded and it's normal for freeloaders to make some effort. I often see CW subscribers, who have been signed up for many years on CW and have never uploaded a video. But should we close the door to them? Cruel dilemma....
Well, CW is supposed to be a sharing site. To me that means sharing with other members who take the trouble to upload videos. I accept a number of people who have videos that I don't care about but the point is that they are participating.
There are other sites, like Anon-V that don't have any Private videos so freeloaders can use that I guess. Mind you Anon's database is a pale shadow of CW and many vids there are from CW.
In my experience, the Private account holder asks for money/Bitcoin. The idea of copying a Cam Girls chat sessions and then charging money for something stolen, to me is unethical. The Private account holders are not adding any extra value. I can get all these videos from Nakedcams.me or similar for a small subscription but even this seems unfair to the models. But pirating is a fact and uncontrollable. Of course, these are mostly public chat sessions that can be viewed live for free so IMO that's what should be offered here.
So if I pirate (screen record) 10 videos I'm in the "Club". I wonder what percentage of private account holders use this trade method as Friendship approval? I'm not trying to take a moral high ground, just observing the real problem I see with Camwhores content viewing.
I guess we just have to accept that this is the concept of Camwhores. 80% of videos are Private and it's impossible as a normal viewer (non poster) to contact 100's of Private accounts to see maybe one locked clip and as we hear many never respond. The whole concept of 1000s of individuals controlling the content on this site is totally flawed in my view!
I do see the occasional account holder asking for money for others to join. Agree this is unethical and violates the whole premise of CW which is to share videos with others. I won't accept anyone who asks for money and will ignore them if they ask. That said, my impression is that those who ask for money are not that common.
It is frustrating that there are such a lot of "Private" videos on CW. I have more than 1300 "friends" and still find a lot of vids inaccessible. I have changed my policy recently and make my vids recorded from free chat "Public". My vids of privates and tickets will stay "Private", after all, people need some incentive to ask to friend me.
I'm not interested in sharing my vids with non-posters. Rule 1 is that people must post videos. People with "nothing" get denied and ignored.
