Are Albums no longer a thing?

Just idle curiosity really but going through some people on my friend list I note that all the albums that I clicked on don't work. Albums are not a big priority but they can be entertaining.

I’ve personally never been able to see contents of an album and always assumed it was just something that doesn’t work via mobile or iOS specifically. I’ve never logged in via a computer so couldn’t check that theory.

Yeah, even when it "worked" back then, it was clunky and you had very little control over editing the albums. Having said that, I still wish that it comes back as I have a lot of pics to share more so than videos.
